Kristen Terteling
Barn Manager and Trainer
Kristen has been involved in the equine industry for over 40 years. She started riding when she was a child as a jumper and then was drawn to compete in dressage. At age 16, she competed at the Prix St. George. Throughout her career, she has gained valuable experience working in a variety of disciplines with horses. She truly enjoys breaking and training horses and has extensive experience with Mares, Stallions and Stud Colts. Some of her favorite work experiences are when she was a performer at the Arabian Nights and the Lipizzan Stallion Show and an Assistant Trainer for Medieval Times. Kristen’s goal at Ivory Farm is to help people have better communication with their horses to enhance their experience and relationship with their beloved partners.
